	Brisbane Airport is located in the Brisbane suburb of Brisbane Airport, Queensland, Australia. The airport is managed by Brisbane Airport Corporation Limited (BAC) and the current CEO is Koen Rooijmans. It is the third busiest airport in Australia after Sydney and Melbourne airports.

	~~Brisbane Airport has an international terminal, a domestic terminal and a cargo terminal. Both of the passenger terminals have a number of shops and cafeterias.~~

	The airport was awarded the IATA Eagle Award in 2005, the second of only two Australian airports to receive such award. Brisbane's $400 million parallel runway project is close to a reality after a dramatic rise in passenger numbers over the last 3 years.

	~~Brisbane, along with Sydney Airport, Melbourne Airport and Perth Airport, are having terminal modifications to accommodate the new Airbus A380, The A380 first arrived at Brisbane on November 14, 2005.~~

	Brisbane Airport is accessible by road from Brisbane's Gateway Motorway and from the city, and by rail using the Airtrain service that is linked to the Citytrain network. A new Airport Link motorway is planned to connect the Brisbane CBD and airport.

	On 18 September 2007, the federal government granted approval for the construction of a new runway at Brisbane airport. The $1 billion new runway will take approximately eight years to construct and will generate about 2,700 jobs. The 3,600-metre runway will operate parallel to the existing main runway at the Brisbane Airport.

	Aircraft taxiing past for departure Rwy 19, also approach to Rwy 19 and departing aircraft on 01. There is an elevated concrete slab in front of the wire fence but a ladder is still advisable. For a taxi shot u will need about 100mm, generally the international a/c take the far taxiway as shown in the pic above and domestic a/c take the closer taxiway. But sometimes you get lucky !
	~~The easest way to get there is turn left at the roundabout after the Control Tower on to Dryandra Rd and continue as far as you can go then turn right onto Acacia St.~~
	~~Best time for shooting is between 9am and 10am.~~

	~~===Boronia Road Approach===~~
	~~You will need above 320mm for taking pictures of 737's and less for a/c of a larger magnitude.~~
	The easiest way to get there is follow Lomandra drive east. Boronia Rd road is a ring road so you can take either the first or second Boronia Rd roads on the left. Best time for taking pictures is in the afternoon

	You can get great shots of aircraft arriving rwy 01 with the Brisbane city skyline as a backdrop, also roll through for both 19 & 01. The easiest way to get there is follow Lomandra drive east turn left onto Myrtletown Rd follow it up to the Qantas hangers, as the road curves to the right take the first left Pandanus Av (This is a private road you can be told to move on at anytime please do if asked) follow it up and take the first left Baeckea St there is a carpark on the right. Around 260 mm gets the 747's, 300mm gets 737's. Best time for taking photo's is in the morning

	~~The easiest way to get there is follow Airport Drive to the International terminal turn left at the roundabout into Correa St. The best time to take photo's is in the afternoon.~~

	Departing aircraft Rwy 19, Landing 01 roll through and taxi both directions. The easiest way to get there is follow Airport Drive past the International terminal, through the roundabout do a U-turn and turn into Toona Lane (There is a field on the left)~~. The best time to take photo's is in the afternoon.~~

	~~===Mc Bride Road===~~
	Departing aircraft Rwy 19, Approaching Rwy 01. Easiest way to get there is from Airport Drive follow Lomandra drive to the end. Turn right onto Eagle Farm Road, Then first right onto Serpentine Road Then right again onto Mc Bride Road. Follow it to the end. The best time for photo's is in the morning.

	~~===Main Beach Road - Sewage Plant===~~
	Approaching aircraft Rwy 19. easiest way to get there is from Airport Drive follow Lomandra drive to the end. Turn left onto Main Myrtletown Rd follow all the way to Bancroft Rd right into Brownlee St then left into Main Beach Rd follow to the end. On the left you will see a grass driveway along the fence line. Best time for photo's is in the morning.
