+Photography of aircraft landing on RWY34 is best from the grassland on Operations Road just past Qantas maintenence. Before Midday has the best lighting. The area is not marked as a viewing area, but local authorities seemed to be very tolerant of spotter using this location as it is well away from any perimeter fences or buildings. 70-300mm lens is sufficient.
+Once again, ther is no public transport to this loactionand it would be a 45minute walk from the terminal area.
-Runway 34 threshold located on Operations Road (just past Qantas maintenence) is an ideal location for photography,particularly early morning when the sun is at your back. There is a large grassed area where you can park your car off the road.Aircraft can be photographed from all angles and a 70-300mm lens is sufficient.
