The only international airport within the province of Manitoba, Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport is a major transportation hub for Manitoba. A large number of airlines fly to the airport, and it is a hub for several smaller carriers. Decent spotting oppertuniteis are availible, mostly due to the nearby Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.

Located on the second floor of the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, there is an indoor flight deck that offers views of both runways. ATC is played over the speakers (although sometimes quite quietly), and free WiFi is provided. There are great views and a zoom lens is not required.
