Opened in 1965, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport serves Malaysia and regional destinations Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.
As one of the largest fixed base operators in the region, with a covered hangar space of more than 100,000 sq ft, the airport mainly serves Firefly and Malindo Air, as well as private and corporate aircraft.
Designated as a favoured private aviation hub, the airport is also the base for Eurocopter.
