The Dixon | The Thomas A. Dixon, Jr. Aircraft Observation Area, also known as Friendship Park, is located at the end of runway 33L on Dorsey Road at the south side of the airport. The park is open to the public. There is a parking lot, benches, and a playground at this park. The park also serves as the parking lot for the 10+ mile BWI Marshall Airport Hiker-Biker Trail, which encircles the airport.
Be sure not to walk out of the park along Dorsey Road or cross the wooden fence into the grass area around the approach lights. This is illegal.
