Allegiant air is the dominant airline at SGF. As of September 2010 they only fly MD-80 series twin-jets which are the largest planes that regularly fly to SGF. Allegiant recently acquired six 757s which will enter service later in 2010 servicing routes to Hawaii. It is not yet known which airports in Allegiant's network will include this new service, and, as a result see the 757s.

United Express, American Eagle, Delta Connection and NWA Airlink fly a variety of small regional jets into SGF but their combined volume is far less than that of Allegiant.
