St. John's International Airport (IATA: YYT, ICAO CYYT) is located 5 NM northwest of St. John's, in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The airport was predominantly a military airport, but in 1946 became under civilian operation and today it is a modern international airport serving just over 1 million passengers in 2007.
