===North Terminal Parking=== | ===North Terminal Parking===
The North parking deck and adjacent lot are great for shooting arriving and departing flights utilizing the north runways (8L/26R, 8R/26L). The City of Atlanta Department of Aviation no longer issues use of facilities forms for spotting/photography. Parking decks are permissible areas for spotting/photography. Some APD officers may not know this so please respectably inform them this change in policy if they insist Atlanta requires this form still. Always be pleasant and comply with police or airport official's requests. If they ask you to leave even when you know you're allowed to be there, you must leave. ===Cell Phone Lot===
The cell phone lot offers a great view as it is just off the edge of Twy L. It is possible to photograph from this lot in the summertime when the light is workable, albeit through a fence. Still a great place to sit for free and watch planes depart from Runway 9L.
