The Blue Danube Airport, termed after the river Danube, or Flughafen Linz is located in Hörsching, about 15 kilometres southwest of the provincial capital city of Upper Austria, Linz. The airport is equipped with an asphalt runway ( 3000 x 60m / 9843 x 197ft ) with the magnetic heading 09/27 and a parallel grass runway (660 x 45m).
